Eligibility:
Awarded annually for outstanding extracurricular and professional contributions to SLIS and its students by a continuing full- or part-time MLIS student.
Criteria: involvement in a broad range of activities demonstrating dedication to the MLIS student body, the MLIS program, and/or the field of librarianship in general. All continuing students in the MLIS program are eligible, with the exception of the LISSA vice-president.
Application:
The LISSA president and vice-president will select a recipient and inform the SLIS School Administrator, who administers the award on behalf of LISSA. The Award will be presented at the annual year-end celebration sponsored by LISSA.
Donations:
Established in 2005 by graduating students Bess Sadler and CJ de Jong. Donations may be made by contacting the SLIS School Administrator.
