Awarded annually to a student in a graduate degree program on the basis of superior academic achievement and whose thesis or research is in the area of Chinese Studies which helps in promoting a better understanding of the Chinese people.

There is no application form; FGSR will request one nomination from each eligible department. The Graduate Scholarship Committee will make the final decision.
