Master of Library and Information Studies
This program is accredited by the American Library Association (ALA), and allows students to pursue a course-based or thesis-based degree on a full-time or part-time basis.
Combined Master of Arts in Humanities Computing / Master of Library & Information Studies Program
In this inter-faculty joint degree program, students may complete the MLIS degree in conjunction with the Master of Arts in Humanities Computing. This is a thesis-based degree program, which typically extends over three years of full-time study.
Master of Arts in Humanities Computing, Library & Information Studies Specialization
SLIS is a home department for the Master of Arts in Humanities Computing, a thesis-based degree program offered through the Faculty of Arts.
Interdisiplinary
Individuals may pursue a Ph.D. at SLIS in conjunction with another department on campus that has an established Ph.D. program.
The Faculty of Education also offers the Teacher-Librarianship by Distance Learning program.
